Kim Hope, Program Coordinator for the Leadership Studies Program has been selected to receive the 2020 LAS Professional & Scientific Outstanding New Professional Award.

The Professional and Scientific Excellence Award recognizes and honors professional and scientific staff members who have been employed by Iowa State University for five years or fewer and who have achieved outstanding performance in their respective fields.

Kim has the distinction of serving as the Program Coordinator for three units: Leadership Studies, Women and Gender Studies, and Communication Studies. Kim is an indispensable member of each of these units and is a truly deserving recipient of this award.

I love doing whatever I can to showcase the work of our faculty and students. I’m so grateful to get to work in a job I love!”

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will recognize Kim’s achievement at the LAS Fall Convocation on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 3:30 p.m., tentatively scheduled to take place in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.
