Global Leadership Study Abroad

Lunch in Sweden

Earn 3 credits in Leadership Studies

Earn 3 hours of academic credit by taking LDST 3330: Women, Gender, and Leadership or LDST 3600: Cultural Competency and Global Leadership. Through these courses you will:

  • Study leadership theories and practices in a global setting.
  • Meet with local and national government officials, business leaders and non-governmental agency staff members.
  • Learn about history and culture by exploring museums, historical landmarks, natural wonders, shops, and neighborhoods.

LD ST 3330 is also approved for U.S. Diversity credit.

All students, regardless of their major, are strongly encouraged to engage in an international experience at least once. The rewards are endless and enrich your educational and personal growth.

The student experience

While in Sweden, students have the opportunity to share their experiences with others through blogging. Students earn class credit for completing blogs, but also use their blogs to keep friends and family up to date back home. read about Veronica, a biology (pre-med) student who also pursued a leadership studies certificate or Caitlin’s experience during her study abroad adventure.
