Congratulations to 2020 Leadership Studies graduate, Andrew Neller!

Andrew Neller will receive a Leadership Studies Minor and a degree in Mathematics from Iowa State University. Congratulations, Andrew!

What are your career plans after graduation?

To go into the Project Management field of work and I’m currently finding an internship in Iowa.

 

What other goals do you have for your life after graduation (hobbies, travel, self-improvement, etc.)? 

To do what I love and love what I do.

 

What was your favorite Leadership Studies class? And why?

LD ST 322, because the discussions in that class helped me realize what I want to do.

 

How do you feel Leadership Studies has made an impact on you?

Leadership Studies has shaped the route I want my career to take.

 

After your time in the program, what is your definition of leadership?

Leadership is the activity of mobilizing adaptive work.

 

What activities, clubs, groups were you a member of at ISU?

I participated in the National Society of Leadership & Success, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inter-Residence Hall Association, Friley Hall, and Converse House.

 

What is your favorite memory from being at ISU? 

Finding out that I wanted to be a Project Manager through the hobbies I was already doing with ISU organizations.

 

What would you say to someone considering a Leadership Studies minor or certificate?

There are many things to learn in Leadership Studies, and I am glad to have done so.
