I plan to travel before I start working. My hobbies are reading, journaling, and practicing yoga (sculpt, & barre classes).
What was your favorite Leadership Studies class? And why?
My favorite Leadership Studies class was LD ST 270 because of how many discussions we had. It was a way to engage with others in the program as well as expand our opinions and be more open minded about others.
How do you feel Leadership Studies has made an impact on you?
I feel like leadership studies has made an impact on me by helping me understand that it starts with me before I can lead others. I have to understand my own values & beliefs before I can start to work towards leading others.
After your time in the program, what is your definition of leadership?
My definition of leadership is engaging, discussing, and working towards a goal of helping one another by creating some kind of impact.
What activities, clubs, groups were you a member of at ISU?
I was a member of Homecoming Central Student Alumni Leadership Council.
What is your favorite memory from being at ISU?
My favorite memory was going on the field at Jack Trice during the homecoming football game and being recognized for planning homecoming!
Do you have any other memories or thoughts about Leadership Studies that you would like to share?
To always be open minded and share your own opinion as a leader!
What would you say to someone considering a Leadership Studies minor or certificate?
Take the uncomfortable classes where you have to go out of your comfort zone. Those are the ones where you change & grow as a leader.
